In honor of International Women's Day, I created a scene showcasing a luxurious European aristocracy lunch. My inspiration came from classic artworks that depict women as polite, gentle, and restrained, sitting at a table wrapped in mumbles and corsets next to their husbands. I reimagined this traditional scene in a more feminist way by carefully casting three male models to act as 'Polite men' and collecting the best Victorian accessories and antiques to suit the atmosphere. The result is a stunning display of traditional elegance with a modern twist.
I'm absolutely thrilled to have had the opportunity to produce a project that not only showcases my creative vision but also challenges the conventional notions of gender, pushing the boundaries of what we know and inspiring a new perspective.
I oversaw all aspects of this production, including art direction, styling, and photography.
